Born in 1990, Anton Van Hertbruggen is an illustrator/artist living and working around Antwerp, Belgium.
By filtering his fascination for suburban life, nature, Flaming Lips – concerts, zoology and the American West and mixing it up with scenes out of his everyday life, he puts together his own spacious, personal and slightly utopian environnements. Most of his works are made up by cycling around at night.
Anton published two books(Het hondje dat Nino niet had & Memoires of a Suburban Utopia) and has a third one floating around in his head.
His work has been published by various international magazines and newspapers such as The Süddeutsche Zeitung, The New York Times, Nobrow, Slanted and The New Yorker.
